AcuRhythms – Acupuncture & Sound Healing
Come and immerse yourself in a night of healing internal movement in the body and soul with Acupuncture therapy combined with acoustic vibrational Sound Healing!
Receive a group healing session where Acupuncture points are selected based off of the attendees’ needs and any seasonal and cosmic energies that may be present.
Acupuncture is an energetic medicine that taps into the energetic fields within the body that run along channels. By applying needles to specific points along these energetic channels, the energy field of the body can be adjusted to a more harmonious balance.
Vibration of sound through music- also has a healing effect on the body as well. When combining the energetic movements in the body with the vibration of sound, the treatment is brought to a deeper level. Experience the power of various vibrational acoustic musical instruments, such as the Hang Drum (or Hand Pans), Crystal Singing Bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, Gongs, Chimes, Guitar, Voice and more…
Najah Abdus-Salaam and Cheryl Davies’ lives have run parallel for the past decade. Meeting in New York City in 2002 and then separately moving to San Diego within months of each other, their destiny was joined again while studying the ancient art of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. While there, they studied under the same mentor and gained the California License of Acupuncturists and Certified Massage Therapy License. They have been working side by side for the past year and have created a holistic treatment style involving the synergistic flow between the art of Acupuncture and the healing vibration of music.
And our beloved, Heather Fenwick has also joined the team as our newest Acupuncturist. Cheryl, Najah and Heather are all Alumni of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, and bonded during their years on campus. Heather is a very well known yoga teacher in San Diego, teaching a variety of classes, and leads magical yoga retreats all over the world. We are so happy to have Heather as our newest AcuRhythmer 🙂
